YOUR ITINERARY

Thursday |An early morning departure from the local area as we head south to begin our break. Making suitable stops along the way we arrive in the south mid-afternoon, ready for our ferry crossing to the Isle of Wight.

Friday | Ryde – ‘The Gateway to the Island’. Cowes – home of the famed Regatta, the largest town in the isle of wight, with a rich history and beautiful seafront. Early afternoon we travel to historic town of Newport.

Saturday |Today we enjoy a tour of the island, visiting Godshill, Isle of Wight Pearl and Alum Bay.

Sunday |An excursion to the west of the island, taking in the spectacular views along the old military road. We pause to admire the beautiful St Agnes Church, before continuing to world-famous Needles Landmark Attraction, and one of the Isle of Wight’s most iconic sights. Perhaps visit Alum Bay Glass, the Sand Shop or the Isle of Wight Sweet Manufactory (charges may apply at each). We round off the day in Yarmouth, with its picturesque harbour, for time at leisure.

Monday |Step back to a bygone era with a journey onboard the Isle of Wight Steam Railway. Settle into the beautifully restored Victorian and Edwardian carriages as you pass through the island’s unspoilt countryside and ancient woodlands. After arriving at our departure, you’ll enjoy a free afternoon in Sandown.

Tuesday | An early morning we must bid farewell to our hosts and begin our journey back to Boston. We will ensure that suitable lunch and coffee stops are made en route back to Boston, arriving late afternoon.
