Our first overnight stop at The Shap Wells Hotel, situated in a secluded, wooded valley, high in the Shap Fells and surrounded by mountain streams.
Ben Nevis Hotel, Fort William
Situated on the edge of Fort William, at the foot of Ben Nevis, the hotel provides a warm Scottish welcome. Tasty local fayre to round off your day. The leisure centre with an indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi, is the perfect place to unwind. The hotel has no lift, but has a number of ground floor rooms.
Peebles Hydro
Proudly dominating Peebles from Venlaw Hill for over a century, the four-star Peebles Hydro is a stunning Victorian building surrounded by beautiful forest and rolling hills. With a superb restaurant, several inviting lounge and bar areas along with a leisure club with swimming pool and sauna.

YOUR ITINERARY
Saturday |Following your taxi collections we depart the local area mid-morning and begin our journey north. We take a lunch break in our journey in the stunning market town of Skipton. Arriving at our overnight hotel, Shap Wells in time to settle in before the evening meal.
Sunday |After a hearty breakfast we bid farewell to our hosts at Shap Wells and continue our journey north. We visit the stunning Royal Stirling where the skyline is dominated by its castle, towering over some of the most important battlefields of Scotland’s past. We then complete the final part of our journey to our hotel.
Monday |A day to relax after all your travelling and enjoy the delights of Fort William. Take an optional journey on the famous Mallaig Railway (fare not included). Or simply relax in the hotel’s indoor pool.
Tuesday |Today we visit the Isle of Skye, enjoy a wonderful coach tour taking us past Eilean Donan Castle to Kyle of Lochalsh for a mid-morning crossing to Skye. Journey on through the mountains to the town of Portree, nestled in famous scenery. More breathtaking views as we head south to Armadale and the afternoon crossing to Mallaig. Continuing along the famous route of the Mallaig railway following Loch Eil and Loch Eilt and back to Fort William.
Wednesday |We head for the capital of the Highlands, Inverness, passing through the Great Glen and along the banks of Loch Ness. Keep your cameras at the ready to capture Nessie. Make history and headline news with an authenticated photo. We enjoy a 50 minute Loch Ness Cruise, the perfect way to experience the sights, wildlife and history of the famous loch.
Thursday |A leisurely morning coach drive through quaint fishing villages as we head along the banks of Loch Linnhe to Oban, ‘Gateway to the Islands’. Oban is a town in a picture postcard setting – inspiring writers, artists and composers alike over the centuries. Enjoy a stroll along the promenade or call in to the local attractions including the Oban War and Peace Museum and the Oban Distillery. Scottish goodies along George Street and adjacent lanes. Time permitting, we continue along the western coastline to the picturesque Isle of Seil and the ancient, humped Bridge of Clachan.
Friday |After breakfast we depart our hotel and begin our journey south, we visit Glencoe, the pretty little village located at the foot of the Glencoe mountains where the River Coe flows into Loch Leven. Today also offers the opportunity for an exciting Loch Lomond Cruise, after the cruise we depart and travel to our overnight hotel, Peebles Hydro.
Saturday | A final hearty Scottish breakfast before we depart this morning, we bid farewell to Scotland and begin our journey back to Lincolnshire. Appropriate coffee and lunch stops will be made en route. Upon your return to Boston you will be greeted by your taxi driver for the final leg of your journey.
