YOUR ITINERARY

Friday |Join our coach at one of our convenient joining points, we depart the local area by 8am and begin our journey north to Whitby. Beverley is perfectly positioned in our journey to accommodate a coffee stop and a welcome break in our journey. After our stop, we continue the journey north to Whitby, arriving by 1.30pm the day is then yours to explore at leisure prior to your evening meal at the hotel.

Saturday | A hearty breakfast to start the day and then on with the exploring Whitby. Fish and chips and ice cream; history and culture; vampires and Goths: it’s all on offer at this loved seaside town. Whitby wallows in history, including fishing, the jet industry (did you know that it’s still the best place in the world to find the gleaming black gemstone so beloved by the Victorians?), Captain Cook (who was born nearby, and whose famous ship the Endeavour was Whitby-built) and whaling. We depart Whitby early afternoon and make the short journey to charming, historic seaside village of Robin Hood’s Bay, with time for a stroll and an ice cream before we commence our journey back to Lincolnshire.
